So, you’ve had a look at a rental property you like the look of – where to from here?
If you’re keen on taking one of our rental properties there are a couple of things we need to take care of before you can move in and start calling it home.
Applying for the property
You’ll need each person who you intend to live at the property (excluding children) to complete a tenancy application form.
Once everyone has completed their application forms, send them all through to us (or drop them off) with a copy of their photo ID and we’ll start processing your application.
You’ll want to allow about 24 hours as we need to call each of your references and check your rental and credit history. We’ll then give you a call to let you know how we got on.
Rent & Bond
If you’re successful with your rental application, we will require you to pay the equivalent of 2 weeks rent in advance and 4 weeks bond when you sign your new tenancy agreement.
If coming up with the required rent and bond is likely to cause a problem, do have a chat with us as there are sometimes other options we can explore.
How can you pay your rent or bond?
You can either pay by cash or cheque directly out our office, or you can transfer the funds directly to our trust account (get in touch with us directly if you need our account number).
